::Information
Currently
spanning both coasts (with curent headquarters in San Francisco),
the Institute for Urban Exploration (IUE) is a guild of persons
dedicated to the exploration of urban landscapes. This highly
elite organization charts expeditions to document, and in some
cases excavate artifacts from,
otherwise "off limits" areas in various regions of the
United States. The members, unless otherwise acquainted, communicate
strictly on a codename basis, thus forming a close-knit operation
with a comforting level of anonymity. The groups main focus is
on the exploration of abandoned complexes, yet the special-ops
group has missions including the infiltration of live sites, storm
and sewer tunnels, out of area operations, and other highly classified
projects.
Potential
members will be evaluated based on many variables. The ideal candidate
should veiled a good combination of the following qualities: past
experience, artistic creativity, resourcefulness, agility, communication
skills, trustworthiness, ability to perform in stressful and/or
potentially fatal situations, charisma, survival tactics, social
engineering skills, good humor, climbing skills, ability to work
within a group, logical thought process, problem solving skills,
and the social edge needed to be the member of a highly elite
underground organization.
Limited
training, if needed, may be provided by supporting members on
a per-mission
basis. General information and tactical skill documents should
be available in thenear future. Excursions will be planned only
by members of security clearance level III or above; parties will
then be chosen on per-mission circumstances. Anyone members and
nonmembers alike may suggest
potential expeditions. All missions will be taken into consideration.
